Here we have another example of our collaborative relationship with high-end cabinet makers, Halstock. The location of this project was at Exton Park Vineyard, where lovers of fine wine can experience the indulgence of 60 acres of Hampshire through their private tastings, member-only events and exquisite spaces.
We might know a thing or two about cocktails, but when it comes to cabinet making and brass, we know exactly how to mix the perfect formula.
We regularly receive enquiries about designing bespoke library ladders in all shapes, sizes, materials and mechanisms. This particular project is a great example of the kind of collaboration clients can expect to receive from Andrew Nebbett Designs, in order to achieve exactly the right solution for their space. The brief was to design and create a bespoke hook-on library ladder that would be installed against our client’s existing bookcase.
We were contacted by an architect to look at creating a custom-made library ladder and rails for her clients’ home in the Royal Crescent, Bath.
Our client in the US came to us looking for a bespoke library ladder and rail system for a home remodelling project in Beverly Hills. Armed with plans for the ladder, our team set to work creating 3D visual renders – our usual approach at the start of a project and one that helps immensely to bridge the gap between discussions and sketches, and the real thing!
Globally, we are becoming increasingly aware of our impact on the environment. Many people are now making conscious decisions based on the environmental credentials of the companies they buy from. Attempting to be eco-friendly has become a mainstay of our daily lives, from where we buy our food to what we clean our houses with. So conscious are we to be more ‘green’ that even interior design choices are becoming linked to sustainability and environmental impact, with people selecting materials which are easy to recycle. Incorporating metal furniture into an interior design scheme offers a sustainable solution for the environmentally conscious client.
We were hugely excited to catch a glimpse of one of our projects in the recent BBC documentary series, My Life as a Rolling Stone. There (right of the opening shot) in the background of Huntsman, one of Charlie Watts’ favourite Savile Row tailors, stood our AND rolling library ladder.
