Do you have what it takes to bring dreams to life? Andrew Nebbett Designs are the ‘makers of dreams’ and through the company’s continued growth are seeking to expand the team.

Andrew Nebbett Designs is a leading supplier of bespoke high-end metalwork to the luxury interiors industry, all over the world. Creating items such as custom-made luxury library ladders, bespoke metal-clad dining tables all the way through to individually designed and made shower enclosures and a huge amount in between.

Serving the interiors and architectural markets for both private and commercial clients, we are currently expanding and have new vacancies for suitable individuals to join our existing team of very talented individuals.

Skilled Cabinet Maker (with an interest in metalwork)

Our ideal person would have cabinet making experience and be able to work from plans, but also be interested to learn metal working skills.

Examples of the skills to be gained are:

  • Sheet copper/zinc/brass folding and forming skills, by hand.
  • Tin soldering/silver soldering of non-ferrous metals.
  • Metal turning, milling and drilling.

If successful you will be working within an experienced team on bespoke projects in a traditional workshop.

Hours and Pay:

40 hours per week with excellent rates of pay.
Flexible working hours are available.

Skilled Joiner Maker (with an interest in metalwork)

Our projects are precise and require great attention to detail.

We are currently expanding and seeking a skilled individual to work alongside our team of very talented and creative craftspeople.

Our ideal person would have workshop joiner experience and be able to work from plans, but also be interested to learn metal working skills.

The Role:

The skills that you would ideally have are :

  • Experience in using a lathe
  • Experience in using a circular saw
  • Experience in using a spindal moulder
  • Used to sanding and finishing work
  • Able to work accurately

Creative Metalworker

For this position, we are seeking a skilled and experienced worker to join our existing team of very talented individuals.

The Role:

The ideal candidate will possess some of the following:

  • An ability to problem solve and think laterally is vital.
  • Experience of manual machining (both milling and turning) is beneficial.
  • A broad range of hand working skills to a high level of competency is very important.
  • Attention to detail is critical.
  • Some knowledge of working with non-ferrous metals (forming, machining, finishing etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of steel welding, fabricating.
  • Ability to work from plans/drawings in a traditional workshop.
  • Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD / Fusion360 / Inventor / Solidworks etc.) is desirable.
  • Experience of project management is helpful.
  • An experience of job costing is advantageous.

  • Knowledge of working on a metal lathe and metal drilling.
  • Working within an experienced team on bespoke projects.
  • Ability to work from plans in a traditional workshop.

Hours and Pay:

40 hours per week with excellent rates of pay.
