Taking the conventional out of an everyday object, we were super excited by this project brief – to turn the boring into the bold, the beautiful and the bespoke, with the creation of an exterior door for existing clients who were keen to incorporate more Andrew Nebbett Designs products into their new home.
Metals such as brass, nickel and chrome have featured on fixtures and fittings for years, but metal surfaces such as cupboard doors and frames are becoming an ever-increasing choice for many parts of the home.
Choosing to live with a piece of furniture which incorporates a uniquely patinated metal surface is perhaps most easily described as starting a relationship with a new friend, who will reveal their full personality to you ‘one event at a time’.
A visual feast was on the menu for everyone when the Andrew Nebbett Designs’ team were asked to ‘come to the rescue’ of a restaurant development project in Central London. The restaurant’s stricken bar was painfully bare as the primary contractor had been let down by a third-party company, who didn’t deliver on their promise of patinated copper panelling for the bar front!
A client requested a series of custom-made wall panels which would tone with the colour scheme of their rooms. The clients preferred the subtle yet colourful combination of our signature Watermark Copper, which really does have a character of its own!
