With a brief to create a set of decorative wall panels for an entrance hall and fire surround, we jumped at the chance to visit our client’s architect-designed 1970’s property in Wimbledon for a closer inspection.

We were contacted by a long-standing interior design client looking for a bespoke solution for her clients. Inspired by an image they had seen online, the question was: ‘Can you make this?’ The answer was: ‘YES! Of course!’ The idea was very specific: a copper cooker hood with integrated extractor fan, incorporating heavy-looking industrial-style rivet detailing and an aged, brushed finish.
Working in collaboration with Halstock – high-end cabinet-makers over the border in Somerset, with whom we have worked on many projects – we created this stunning copper cooker splashback for their client, who was having his kitchen re-modelled.
