When a simple request sparks something special—this bespoke valet rod project began with a designer’s vision for square backplates to match a room’s unique detailing. Crafted in our workshop and finished with a beautifully aged, vintage brass hook, the result is a refined, retractable solution that blends functionality with timeless style. We were approached by a long-standing client looking for a bespoke shelving unit for their kitchen. The brief was simple: to create a contemporary unit to be suspended from the ceiling.
The chosen materials complemented each other perfectly; dark timber shelves and nickel-plated brass tubes, rails and fittings.
Working with a long-standing client and cabinet-maker, we were delighted to collaborate on another project for two bespoke pieces intended for his and hers dressing rooms. The brief was to create a brass hook-on library ladder and rails, with square tube stringers (a more unusual design) and rounded rungs, plus a large round brass mirror frame to tie in with the couple’s existing interior scheme.
Based on our Chester and Bristol rails, we produced five bespoke-sized wall-mounted brass hanging rails, with heavy duty fittings, to provide the best possible wall fixings, to a size & finish perfectly fitted to the surroundings.
