A long-standing client contacted us with a brief to design and create a set of bespoke brass cabinet doors (cupboard doors) that would be in perfect keeping with the existing style of a home bar in a private residence – bijoux, golden, and totally bespoke. We immediately understood why we had been chosen to help!

We might know a thing or two about cocktails, but when it comes to cabinet making and brass, we know exactly how to mix the perfect formula.

All our briefs are specific, some a little more than others. With existing highly polished brass elements and marble counters, the mainstay of the bar, it was important that we were able to construct the cabinet doors to perfection.

As part of the design and communication process, we drew from the client’s initial hand drawings to create 3D visuals to demonstrate the exact design being proposed. These renders enable everyone to visualise how the final project will look once in situ and has proven to be a vital part of our design process.

Constructed from polished, perforated brass grilles and a brass frame, these custom cabinet doors underwent a series of processes, from mitring and soldering, down to the creation of the hinges and beautifully tactile brass pull handles. Known for our meticulous attention to detail, we believe in creating something that is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside, so the internal wooden frame, housed within the mitred brass frame, was blackened to effortlessly complement the surrounding metal well and to tone with the rest of the interior!

Quality Craftsmanship

These ‘bar doors’ (as we referred to them in-house) retain an exquisite and delicate quality, while at the same time being robust for everyday use.
