Shipping, Delivery & Installation

We are always very excited for our clients to take delivery of their pieces made by us and so we take great care with our shipping options offered. Get in touch with us if you want to discuss more details or get a shipping quote. We are very happy to help you further!

Where do we ship?

We ship within the UK and all over the world! We are pleased to regularly work with clients based in the USA, Australia, Europe to name a few.

Shipping to Mainland UK

Shipping of Our Signature Collection To Mainland UK

Standard delivery

The majority of our Signature Collection pieces have a standard delivery charge set. This charge covers the shipping of your piece using FedEx Standard Express service to most UK mainland destinations, and is added to your basket on checkout.

For standard delivery we tend to use the FedEx service – Standard Express which includes:

  • Collection from us before 2pm
  • Delivery the next working day
  • Tracking number
  • FedEx insurance for your package which covers for the total loss of the parcel. Lost parcels will need to be claimed for using the Fedex process, and on approval of the claim, the goods will need to be re-made in our workshops.

Please note that delivery times are managed by the courier, they may vary and are out of our control.

Priority delivery

We can also provide a priority delivery service if required which allows you to specify a certain day and/or time. Contact us before purchasing if this is an option you would like.

Shipping to be Quoted

Some of the items from the Signature Collection require a custom shipping quote. This is because the cost of shipping varies depending on the final weight, dimensions and packaging of the finished piece.

This means the price shown in your basket does not include shipping, which will be added separately.

Here’s how the process works:

  • Place your order.
  • We’ll contact you with a shipping quote. If needed, we’ll discuss lead time and budget requirements with you.
  • Approve the shipping quote. Once confirmed, we begin production of your piece.

If you would like a complete cost estimate before placing your order, simply contact us for a shipping quote.

We work closely with trusted carriers who specialise in transporting antique furniture and works of art, both within the UK and overseas. Shipping options can be arranged as part-load deliveries or as dedicated trips, depending on your requirements. Please contact us for more info.

Please note: In your basket you may see a reference to “flat rate” shipping. This is a placeholder indicating that goods are supplied Ex Works (EXW). A tailored shipping quote will be provided separately to meet your needs.

Shipping of Bespoke Furniture

We tailor shipping and installation for every piece of bespoke furniture. Once your order is placed, we will secure a specific quote for delivery and installation (if required). This personalized approach ensures we align with your project timeline, budget, and specific installation needs.

We have established long-standing relationships with preferred carriers for both UK and international deliveries. These trusted partners are highly experienced in transporting antique furniture, works of art, and bespoke pieces and are extremely careful and trustworthy. They offer both a dedicated and a part load service, and we are happy to obtain a tailored quote for your project.

Once the shipping quote (including the method and timing) has been approved by you, this cost will need to be settled separately.

You are also welcome to arrange to collect in person on an Ex Works (EXW) basis, where you can arrange your own collection and installation of your pieces from our workshops. Contact us to find out more or to arrange.

Purchasing the Signature collection

Although all of our items from the Signature Collection are available for delivery around the world, we currently don’t offer a set price for shipping of our signature collection outside of the UK.

If you are purchasing the Signature Collection from outside the UK we will provide you with an individual quote for shipping so we can get the best price and service for you. Please contact us for a quote.

Tax and Duties

When our pieces are shipped for you to another country outside the UK mainland, the shipping cost will not cover any import duties or taxes into your country. These charges will be notified to you by the shippers and will need to be settled by you to the shippers, ahead of delivery.

Smaller International Parcel Shipments

For smaller parcels we tend to use the FedEx service – Standard Express which includes:

Larger International Parcel Shipments

For larger parcels, we like to use the services of The British Shop who we have used for many years. We’ll introduce you to a dedicated shipping liaison manager, who will coordinate delivery and invoice you directly.

Their services include:

  • Collecting the pieces from us
  • Wrapping and crating to protect the furniture
  • Sea or air freight services
  • Full white glove service or kerbside only
  • A dedicated shipping liaison manager
  • The shipping cost will not cover any import duties or taxes into your country. These charges will be notified to you by the shippers and will need to be settled by you ahead of delivery.

We are also happy to work with a shipping company of your choice. Contact us to arrange this.
