Our solid brass barn door track has been designed to work with our barn door hardware. Exclusive to Andrew Nebbett Designs, this solid brass sliding/rolling barn door track is fully designed and made in-house by our team in England. The brass barn door track is supplied with two external door stoppers as standard (one at either end of the track).
Options
With our barn door hardware components you can ‘build your own’ rolling barn door system. Our barn door hardware consists of this brass barn door track with optional internal stoppers, sliding door guides (feet/wheels to run along the wall/skirting at the base or floor post to guide the door from underneath), brass door rollers (top of doors) to hold the doors on the track.
The standard length of our rolling brass barn door track is 3000mm. Each track is made to order, available in polished brass or with an antique brass finish. Please select from the drop down when placing an order. Should you require a different length of track, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Considerations
The track is 50mm (2″) high x 6.4mm (1/2″) thick x 3000mm long as standard (other lengths are available upon request). The external stoppers are located 60mm from the ends of the track (65mm from the end of the track to centreline). The stoppers will come into contact with the outer sides of the mounting plates of the barn door rollers.
This track is provided with 5no wall-fixings, spread equidistantly over its length, allowing for the placement of the external stoppers. If central stoppers are chosen, this may impact the location of the wall-fixings. This track system requires good, solid material into which it is mounted to ensure correct anchorage. Andrew Nebbett Designs advises the opinion of a qualified professional (building contractor etc) to determine the suitability of this product for its desired location and style of door/s to be hung.
Note
Optional central stoppers can also be purchased. The internal stoppers are designed to ensure the doors stop centrally to the aperture and don’t over-run if only one door is closed. We will require some additional information from you if you select this optional extra, to ensure their correct placement.
