Description

Beautifully Crafted Brass Wall Shoe Rack

Functional Elegance for Your Home or Stable

Save space and get organised in your entry way, utility room, tack room or stable with this classically designed wall mounted shoe rack. If you have a lot of footwear our double length shoe rack is ideal for keeping everything stowed away.

This brass shoe rack is a carefully adapted version of our standard boot rack. It features five bars that make it perfect for accommodating smaller pairs of shoes and boots! This wall shoe rack has either two or three fixing points to make it durable and heavy duty.

This shoe rack comes in two sizes:

  • The 1000mm size (measured from back plate to back plate) features two support bars and fixing points.
  • The 2000mm size features three support bars and fixing points (two external plus one central bar).

Both sizes are supplied in polished brass and meticulously handmade to order in our workshops here in England. Our skilled craftsmen are specialists in working with brass, copper, steel, and zinc. Applying time-honoured techniques and a keen eye for detail to produce pieces of exceptional quality. Their care and expertise are evident in every finished product.

A shoe rack on the wall keeps boots and shoes off the floor and out from underfoot, whether that’s a narrow boot room or a working stable aisle. Because it’s fixed flush to the wall rather than standing free, it suits tight entryways just as well as larger tack rooms.

The 1000mm and 2000mm sizes cover most spaces, but if you need a wall to wall shoe rack running the full length of a boot room or stable, our bespoke service can make this wall attached rack to any length required, with fixing points positioned to suit your wall.

Need something different?

Through our Bespoke custom design service we can supply this item in alternative sizes and metal finishes. These include nickel plated brass (shiny silver, similar to chrome, but a more lustrous colour), antiqued brass and bronze coloured to name a few. Please contact us for further details.

Why not team this brass shoe rack with the other items within our equestrian range, creating a honed and beautiful tack room solution?

Frequently asked questions

How far does a wall mounted shoe rack need to project from the wall?
This rack projects 360mm, enough to take a boot’s full length rather than just the toe. Worth checking against slimmer wall racks for shoes, which are often built shallower and only suit smaller shoes.

Is a wall attached shoe rack sturdy enough for boots as well as shoes?
Yes. It’s made from solid brass rather than a lighter alloy, which is what lets it carry full-length wellingtons and riding boots alongside everyday shoes, not just lightweight footwear.

How do you plan a wall to wall shoe rack for an exact space?
Send us the measurement between the two end points of the wall, along with anything in the way such as a skirting board or door frame. We’ll position the fixing points to suit your wall, whether that’s studs in a plasterboard boot room or masonry in a stable.

Does the 1000mm or 2000mm size need more support to stay secure?
The 2000mm has three fixing points rather than two, an extra central one alongside the pair at each end, so the longer rack carries its own added length without extra strain on the wall.
